Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Oversee the end-to-end stock management process, ensuring meticulous record-keeping and compliance with industry standards for sanitary ware and kitchen appliances.
- Order Coordination: Collaborate closely with the procurement team to efficiently manage the arrival of new stock, ensuring a smooth integration with existing inventory. Work in tandem with various departments to confirm stock availability and facilitate the timely fulfillment of orders.
- Stock Replenishment: Conduct regular and proactive monitoring of stock levels to anticipate demand and prevent shortages. Implement dynamic replenishment strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels, taking into account seasonal variations and market trends.
- Quality Control: Execute routine quality checks on incoming stock to ensure adherence to established quality standards. Collaborate closely with the quality assurance team to swiftly address and resolve any discrepancies or issues identified during the stock intake process.
- Low Stock Alert System: Develop and implement a sophisticated alert system to monitor low stock levels. Establish precise thresholds and triggers to generate automatic alerts when stock reaches critical levels, facilitating timely action to prevent stockouts.
- Collaboration: Foster open and effective communication with cross-functional departments, including sales, procurement, and warehouse teams. Proactively engage with sales teams to gain insights into upcoming promotions, product launches, or sales initiatives that may impact stock levels.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record with a minimum of 3 years of experience in stock control or inventory management, preferably in the sanitary ware and kitchen appliances industry.
- Proficiency in Excel software.
