Job Description
As a Procurement Officer, you will play a vital role in sourcing and purchasing goods and services for our company. Your responsibilities will include conducting market research, building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that all purchases are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with selected suppliers, ensuring the best possible terms and prices.
- Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Implement and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or a similar role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
