Job Description
The Audit Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the auditing process within the organization. This includes conducting financial and operational audits, developing audit plans and procedures, and leading a team of auditors.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and execute efficient and effective audits, ensuring adherence to applicable standards and regulations.
- Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process.
- Review audit findings and recommendations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to management, highlighting any areas of concern or improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to implement recommended improvements and monitor progress.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or CIA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Thorough knowledge of auditing principles and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
