Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our team. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in supervising and coordinating the kitchen staff, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient operations.
- Prepare and cook delicious dishes according to the established recipes and standards.
- Maintain proper food handling and storage techniques to ensure food safety and quality.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu planning and development.
- Ensure inventory levels are maintained and assist in ordering supplies when needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or relevant position in a high-volume kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in food safety and sanitation.
