focused on the design, marketing, and delivery of high-level conferences, summits, and
investment-focused engagements internationally. Fleissen Events Limited is part of the Fleissen
Group and works closely with Fleissen & Company, an established consulting firm.
Administrative, financial record-keeping, and accounting activities are coordinated across both
businesses to ensure consistency, control, and accurate commercial reporting.
Role Overview
Fleissen Events Limited is seeking a Commercial Operations Associate to support day-to-day
operations and drive the commercial delivery of its events portfolio and other business lines. The
role suits a commercially minded and people-oriented professional with a strong academic
background who can balance revenue-focused work such as sales, sponsorship and exhibitor
engagement with administrative discipline, accounting support and hands-on project coordination
in a consulting environment.
The role requires independent judgment, close attention to detail, and comfort working with
numbers, contracts, and a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support revenue generation through sponsorship, exhibitor engagement, and
partnership development for Fleissen-led events.
- Track commercial leads, proposals, commitments, conversions, and follow-ups to
closure.
- Coordinate invoicing, payment tracking, and revenue records linked to events and
consulting engagements.
- Manage the day-to-day commercial and operational coordination of the Subnational
Investment Promotion Summit (SIPS).
- Support event project management, including timelines, deliverables, stakeholder
coordination, and reporting.
- Maintain accurate administrative, contractual, and financial records.
- Prepare basic financial summaries, payment schedules, and internal updates.
- Manage correspondence, contracts, and documentation with sponsors, partners, and
service providers.
- Support digital outreach and commercial communication related to events and advisory
services.
- Ensure follow-through on agreed actions and adherence to deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience
- First degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business
Administration, or a related social science.
- An advanced degree in management or social sciences is an added advantage.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in a consultancy, professional services firm,
commercial organisation, or event-driven business.
- Demonstrable exposure to sales support, sponsorship acquisition, partnerships, or
business development.
- Strong numerical competence and comfort with basic accounting and financial tracking.
- Strong reading, writing, and professional communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a structured, organised, and calm consulting environment.
