Job Description
We are seeking a proactive Transport Officer to oversee and optimize fleet operations. Responsibilities include scheduling and dispatching vehicles, supervising drivers, ensuring vehicle safety and regulatory compliance, coordinating maintenance, monitoring fuel consumption and expenses, and maintaining accurate transport records. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, familiarity with routing software and MS Office, and the ability to resolve operational issues, manage vendor relationships, and control budgets. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in transport or logistics and possess a valid driver’s license. This position reports to the Operations Manager and supports timely, safe, and cost-effective transportation services.
