Job Description
Firewood Rice Nigeria seeks a full-time Pastry Chef to prepare and bake pastries, desserts, and baked goods to restaurant standards. The role requires attractive plating, correct serving temperatures, and development of daily/weekly specials and event orders while maintaining consistent flavor and texture.
- Maintain and update recipe cards; collaborate with the Head Chef on new menu items and cost management.
- Monitor, label, and rotate ingredient stock; minimize waste through planning and portion control.
- Ensure a clean, HACCP-compliant workstation; sanitize tools and coordinate timely dessert delivery with the main kitchen.
- Train and supervise pastry assistants.
Compensation: ₦150,00/month. Work location: On-site.
