Job Description
The Accountant will manage payroll, ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws (PAYE and statutory deductions), and administer pension contributions under the Pension Reform Act. Key responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statutory filings; maintaining ledgers and reconciling accounts; supporting external audits; and analyzing online-channel financial data to advise management.
- Qualifications: HND or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 2 years of accounting experience with payroll; proficiency in accounting and payroll software required.
- Thorough knowledge of Nigerian tax and pension regulations; ICAN or ACCA certification is a plus.
