Job Description
We are seeking an Abuja-based Drilling Engineer reporting to the Head of Mining Operations. The role involves designing and executing exploration, grade-control, and resource drilling programs; planning hole patterns; supervising drill crews; coordinating with geology teams; and managing rigs, consumables, and budgets. The engineer will prepare daily operational reports and KPIs while ensuring strict compliance with HSE protocols, including permit-to-work systems and hazard mitigation.
- Experience: 4–8 years with RC, diamond, or DTH drilling
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; drill and blast design; sampling proficiency
- Attributes: strong safety discipline, analytical mindset, and effective teamwork
