Job Description
As a Rigging & Lifting Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of rigging and lifting operations within our organization. Your expertise in this field will be crucial in ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations.
You will be involved in the planning, coordination, and execution of rigging and lifting activities, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry best practices. Your responsibilities will include assessing lifting requirements, selecting appropriate lifting equipment, and developing comprehensive lift plans.
You will also be responsible for conducting risk assessments and providing guidance to operational teams to minimize hazards and maintain a safe working environment. Additionally, you will inspect and maintain lifting equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and follow maintenance schedules.
To excel in this role, you should have a thorough understanding of rigging and lifting techniques, as well as knowledge of relevant safety regulations. You must possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
