Job Description
A loan recovery agent at Shecluded is responsible for collecting overdue payments from individuals or businesses that have taken a loan from the organization.
Contacting client: The recovery agent will need to reach out to our clients who have missed loan repayments, usually by phone or email, to remind them of their obligation to repay the loan.
Negotiating loan repayment plans: The agent may negotiate with our clients to establish a repayment plan that is suitable for their financial situation, which may involve adjusting the repayment schedule or amount owed.
Monitoring loan repayment activity: The agent must track and monitor client payment activity to ensure they are meeting the terms of the agreement.
Escalating collection efforts: If the client fails to make payments, the recovery agent may escalate collection efforts by initiating legal action or reporting the delinquent account to credit bureaus.
Maintaining records: The agent must keep accurate records of all interactions with clients, payment history, and any other relevant information related to the account.
Providing customer service: The agent may also provide customer service to clients who have questions or concerns about their loan.
Meeting performance goals: The recovery agent may be required to meet performance goals related to the number of accounts collected, payment plans established, or other key metrics.
