Job Description
Debmyk Consult is actively seeking a committed professional to fill the position of Head of Internal Audit & Compliance. This pivotal role involves assessing and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes within our banking institution.
The primary responsibilities encompass leading the internal audit department, formulating comprehensive audit plans, executing regular audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and drafting detailed reports for both management and the Board.
The ideal candidate will possess a B.Sc Degree or HND in Accounting, with at least 4 years of auditing experience, preferably within a Microfinance Bank. Professional certifications such as CIBN, ICAN, or ACCA are essential.
