Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Purchase Supervisor (Electronics and Household). In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all purchasing activities related to electronics and household products for our company.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing effective purchasing strategies to ensure timely acquisition of high-quality products at the best possible prices.
- Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining good relationships with vendors.
- Managing and optimizing inventory levels to meet customer demands and minimize excess stock.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to understand their product needs and ensure timely availability of stock.
- Monitoring market trends, conducting market research, and staying updated with industry advancements to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Overseeing a team of purchasing staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, along with at least five years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the electronics and household industry. Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
