Job Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for effectively communicating with staff and clients, making decisions, and monitoring the progress of the project to ensure it stays on schedule. They will also be responsible for delegating tasks to employees based on their expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Monitor and uphold construction quality standards through regular inspections and quality checks.
- Manage the project budget and track expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, and progress reports.
Requirements:
- HND/BSC in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive project management experience.
- Proficient in project management tools and software (MS Project, Excel, etc.).
- Professional certifications in project management, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2.
- Substantial experience in managing construction projects, preferably in the agro-processing sector.
