Job Description
Objectives
– Lead Material requisition planning.
– Handle full Import/ Export process, including completing the form MM, LC, Bank transactions, Insurance, etc..
– Lead planning of all aspects of inventory placement, and slotting.
– Manage, implement and continuously review Purchasing Strategies for key raw materials and consumables ensuring long term business benefits.
– Lead Vendor Development, Cost reduction and Negotiation.
– Ensure Vendor Management processes are followed and used to rate Vendors and improve service.
– Evaluate storage and processing capacity needs over an extended planning horizon to ensure constant operational readiness.
– Establish and manage multi-year plans for the Operations Planning function in compliance with overall operating group requirements.
– Work with the Operations Head to establish strategies for the operations team.
– Identify opportunities for planning process improvements.
Required Competence/ Qualification/ Skill
– At least a Bachelors Degree or a HND from a reputable Institution
– At least 4 years working experience handling Imports/ Exports
– Experience working with SAP.
– Experience handling MRP process through SAP ERP.
– Advanced MS Excel functions mastery. For example, Vlookup, etc.
