Job Description

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Responsibilities:

1. Manage financial transactions and records for the construction company.
2. Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, receipts, and payments.
3. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
4. Collaborate with project managers to track project expenses and budgetary constraints.
5. Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
6. Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting for construction projects.
7. Monitor accounts payable and receivable, following up on outstanding payments.
8. Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities for compliance purposes.
9. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies.
10. Stay updated on industry financial regulations and accounting standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Proven experience as an Account Officer in a construction or related industry.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
8. Familiarity with construction project accounting is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to ₦60,00.00 per month
