Job Information

Job Description

The Technical Manager (TM) will oversee critical aspects of our network operations and infrastructure. The TM will play a key role in maintaining high availability, ensuring optimal performance, and implementing robust security measures across our network.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day technology operations, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our systems.
• Implement a system for log collection, management, and analysis.
• Network Integration/Capacity Planning.
• Oversee the design, set up, and configure complex switching environments.
• Network Optimization and Traffic Engineering.
• Network Security Management.
• Supervise management and maintenance of core servers.
• Efficiently use backhaul network bandwidth and implement automatic failover of links.
• Develop preventive maintenance procedures to increase core services’ availability.
• Supervise the Data Center for an orderly and secure environment.
• Liaise with vendors to ensure services operate at proper function and performance.
• Maintain current IP Address registration information.
• Implement network documentation templates, standards, and management procedures.
• Keep up-to-date network documentation and version/change history.
• Provide level 3 network support for all network issues.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc in Electronics/Communications/Network/Computer Engineering.
• 7+ years’ experience with IP Networking and Fiber Optic Network skills.
• Proven experience with data/telephony network design, configuration, protocols, routers, network management, systems administration, and vulnerability management.
• Good knowledge in administering, monitoring, tuning, and modifying network equipment including appliances, routers, switches, firewalls, telephony equipment, servers, virtual environments, and associated software.
• Certification in any of CCNA, Security+, CISSP, or CISM is required.
• Project Management Professional.

Skills:

• Familiarity with Fiber Optics Network.
• Excellent communication (verbally and in writing) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams, inside and outside the Company.
• Extremely organized with the capability to work with complexity, prioritize tasks, and manage workloads to deliver results.
• Project management skill.
• Excellent IT/Computer skills.
