Job Description
A Quantity Surveyor is responsible for estimating and managing the costs related to construction and engineering projects. They play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed within budget and in accordance with quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment required for projects.
- Managing and tracking project costs throughout the construction process.
- Conducting on-site visits and inspections to assess project progress and identify any cost variations.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Preparing and evaluating tender documents, including bill of quantities.
