Job Description
A Maintenance Planning Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing maintenance plans to ensure the efficient operation and reliability of equipment and machinery. They work closely with maintenance teams and other departments to assess maintenance needs, schedule maintenance activities, and monitor progress.
Key responsibilities of a Maintenance Planning Engineer include:
- Performing regular inspections and analysis of equipment to identify maintenance requirements.
- Creating and updating maintenance schedules, ensuring minimal impact on production operations.
- Collaborating with maintenance technicians and supervisors to develop work plans and allocate resources.
- Coordinating with procurement teams to ensure the availability of necessary spare parts and materials.
