Job Description
We are seeking a highly-skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Internal Control Senior (Logistics). In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our logistics operations.
As an Internal Control Senior, you will be responsible for developing and implementing internal control procedures to minimize financial risk and maximize operational efficiency. You will collaborate with various departments to assess and monitor the internal control system, identify potential areas of improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and perform risk assessments to identify operational weaknesses and evaluate existing control measures.
- Develop and implement control procedures for logistics operations to mitigate risk and maintain compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of logistics processes and systems to ensure accuracy, reliability, and effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Provide training and guidance to ensure all employees involved in logistics operations understand and adhere to internal control policies.
The ideal candidate for this position has a strong background in logistics operations, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for effectively liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
