Job Description
A Loan Collection Officer is responsible for managing the collection process for outstanding loans. They work closely with borrowers to ensure timely payment and resolve any issues that may arise. The main responsibilities of a Loan Collection Officer include:
- Monitoring loan account statuses and contacting delinquent borrowers
- Developing repayment plans and negotiating payment arrangements
- Investigating and resolving customer complaints or disputes
- Maintaining accurate records of all collection activities
- Providing regular reports on collection progress to management
To excel in this role, candidates should have excellent communication and negotiation skills. They should also have a good understanding of loan agreements and relevant legal regulations.
