Job Description

1. Design, develop, and maintain highly efficient RESTful APIs that integrate seamlessly with our internal systems and external applications.
2. Utilize your data science skills to analyze large datasets, extract meaningful insights, and build predictive models to inform strategic decision-making.
3. Implement robust anti-scraping measures to combat automated bots and ensure data integrity. This may involve analyzing user behavior, identifying suspicious patterns, and developing mitigation strategies.
4. Perform data cleaning, pre-processing, and feature engineering to prepare data for analysis and model training.
5. Develop and refine machine learning models using various algorithms and frameworks (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch) to solve specific business problems.
6. Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business teams to understand requirements, define data science solutions, and measure their impact.
7. Communicate data insights effectively through visualizations, reports, and presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with web API development frameworks (e.g., Flask, FastAPI).
• Excellent understanding of data structures, algorithms, and machine learning principles.
• Experience with statistical analysis, data visualization, and model evaluation techniques.
• Experience and knowledge of Scraping library e.g. Selenium, BeautifulSoup.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• A passion for learning new technologies and adapting to a fast-paced environment.

Bonus points:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of specific machine learning applications relevant to your industry.
• Proven ability to translate data insights into actionable business solutions.
