Position: Junior Accountant

Location: Iddo, Lagos State, Nigeria

Are you passionate about numbers and finance? Do you have 3-5 years of experience in accounting? If so, Mainland Group Ltd has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Junior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Data Management: Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards.
• Bookkeeping: Handle day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including the preparation of invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.
• Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist in Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial statements and reports, providing insights to aid decision-making.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to the budgeting process and assist in forecasting financial outcomes.
• Compliance: Stay updated on financial regulations and ensure adherence to local accounting standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
