Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Creative Art Teacher to join our educational institution. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore and express their creativity through various art forms. This role involves developing engaging art curriculum, teaching students of different age groups, and fostering an environment that encourages artistic growth and self-expression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement art curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes creativity.
• Deliver art lessons, workshops, and projects to students, adapting teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles.
• Mentor and guide students in developing their artistic skills and techniques. Inspire students to think creatively, experiment with various mediums, and express themselves through art.
• Provide constructive feedback on student artwork and assist them in improving their skills.
• Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment, ensuring a safe and conducive space for artistic exploration.
• Educate students about different art movements, styles, and artists to foster an appreciation for the history of art.
• Incorporate relevant art-related software and technology tools into the teaching process.
• Evaluate student performance, prepare and conduct assessments, and maintain records of student progress.
• Communicate with students, parents, and colleagues to provide updates on student progress and participate in parent-teacher conferences.

Qualifications:

• OND, NCE, Or Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
• Strong artistic skills and proficiency in various art forms.
• Passion for nurturing creativity in students.
• Effective classroom management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in developing art curriculum and lesson plans.
• Familiarity with art-related software and technology tools.
• A portfolio showcasing personal artwork or student work.
• Previous teaching experience is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: ₦45,00.00 – ₦50,00.00 per month

Expected hours: 8 per week
