Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Account Officer to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry, preferably with a background in hotel management. As an Account Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Prepare financial statements and reports.
• Utilize knowledge and experience in the hospitality sector, particularly in hotel accounting practices.
• Understand industry-specific financial challenges and requirements.
• Proficient in using Busy accounting software.
• Ensure accurate data entry and reconciliation using the software.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines and handle peak workload periods.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Account Officer or similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry with hotel experience.
• Familiarity with Busy accounting software is essential.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
