Job Description

An investment firm in Lekki, Lagos, is seeking suitable and qualified personnel to fill the vacant position of Investment Accountant. The main responsibilities for this role include:

• Overseeing monthly and quarterly investor reporting
• Collaborating with auditors regarding preparing annual audited accounts
• Managing monthly and quarterly financial assets schedules
• Ensuring fund administrator reporting is accurate, on time, and reflective of wider business insights
• Conducting AML checks
• Supporting with year-end audit
• Completing NAV calculations
• Providing compliance reports
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Accounting and pricing securities
• Reviewing the expenses, distributions, and drawdowns of funds
• Developing and upholding processes for external and internal investor communications/demands

Requirement:

• B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance
• Minimum of one-year experience working in asset management, debt funds, or private equity
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification is an added advantage
• Advanced Excel skills
