Job Description
- We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant.
- The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry, and will assist in managing the financial operations of our spa.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Assist with audits and prepare necessary documentation as required.
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payments.
- Maintain and update financial records and ensure the accuracy of data.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries for management.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Handle client billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the wellness or hospitality industry.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
