Job Description

Our Client in Ikeja is seeking a qualified and experienced Structural Engineer to join their team. If you have a strong background in building and construction design, we invite you to apply for this position.

Job Requirements:

• Design Expertise: Must possess in-depth knowledge of building and construction design skills.
• Detailed Drawings: Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for structural components.
• Inspections & Assessments: Conduct structural inspections and assessments for various infrastructure projects, identifying potential risks and conditions.
• Design Calculations: Prepare designs and make calculations regarding loads and stresses.
• Material Selection: Select appropriate construction materials and provide technical advice.
• Regulatory Compliance: Obtain planning or building regulations approval.
• Team Coordination: Liaise with relevant professional staff such as architects and coordinate the work of junior engineers and technicians.
• Project Monitoring: Monitor and inspect work undertaken by contractors.
• Project Management: Develop and implement construction plans and project schedules, and manage the project to successful completion.
• Cost Estimation: Prepare cost estimates and implement innovative structural engineering solutions.
• Reporting & Presentations: Prepare reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Research & Development: Research and develop new structural engineering technologies.

Qualification:

• Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Structural Engineering or a related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦150,00.00 – ₦250,00.00 per month

Experience:

• Structural engineering: 3 years (Preferred)
