Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Lagos (Agege)

Salary: 120,00 – 150,00 Naira.

Job Description:

As a Senior Accountant for a hotel bar, you will oversee all financial operations, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide strategic financial insights. Your role will involve advanced financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and guiding the bar’s financial strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all financial operations of the bar.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide strategic insights.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank accounts and manage cash flow.
• Prepare and oversee budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and conduct audits.
• Handle tax preparation, submission, and planning.
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely payment of salaries.
• Provide financial advice and support to management.
• Implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proven ability to manage financial operations and lead a team.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
