Job Description
Jumia, Africa’s leading internet group, is seeking an IT Support Agent (Intern) to join their team in Lagos. As part of the IT department, you will provide technical support to employees, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist with IT projects and initiatives. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic tech environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to Jumia employees
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Maintain IT inventory and asset management systems
- Create and update IT documentation and user guides
- Configure workstations and mobile devices
- Support IT security best practices
- Monitor network performance and connectivity
- Manage user accounts and access control
- Collaborate with IT teams on technical issues
- Conduct basic IT training sessions for employees
Requirements:
- Information Technology, Computer Science, or related degree
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking
- Eagerness to learn new technologies
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms (preferred)
- Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems
- Experience with ticketing systems (preferred)
