Job Description
To teach scholars to Identify and correctly pronounce individual sounds.
Train scholars to classify sounds into Vowels and Consonants or into monophthong, Diphthongs.
To teach scholars to correctly blend sounds to produce words aiding their spellings and writing.
To interact and teach scholars how to use Phonics effectively and creatively.
Conduct assessments for potential students to understand their reading proficiency levels.
Supervise classes to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
Deliver personalized instruction encouraging interactive learning.
Implement educational activities and maintain a clean classroom.
Prepare progress reports, evaluate student progress, allocate and grade assignments.
Requirements:
- OND, HND, or BSc in Phonics or educational-related degree.
- Minimum of 4 years teaching experience.
- In-depth knowledge of teaching methods and legal educational procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Montessori Training is an asset.
