Job Description

Our client, Amy Consulting, an Interior design company located in Ikoyi, Lagos, is seeking a talented interior designer to focus on Interior finishes, Execution & Procurement. Key responsibilities include undertaking design projects from concept to completion, setting costs, and supervising work progress. Key requirements include a BS degree in Interior Design, expertise in design programs, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake design project from concept to completion
  • Define project requirements and schedule during the “brief”
  • Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans
  • Set costs and project fees according to budget
  • Research and decide on materials and products sourcing
  • Produce “sample” and “mood products”
  • Supervise work progress
  • Work closely with designers, decorators, architects, and constructors
  • Research and follow industry changes, evolutions, and best practices

Key Requirements:

  • BS degree in Interior Design or similar
  • Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces
  • Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture, and installations
  • Proficient in design programs like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D Max
  • Excellent portfolio of previous works
  • Strong creative talent, imagination, and eye for design
  • Communication, presentation, and project management skills
  • Preferably female for gender balance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦180,00.00 per month
