Job Description
The GM Operations is responsible for the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of projects. This role encompasses all aspects of the company’s project work areas, including engineering, procurement and construction (Fabrication & Installation).
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the successful delivery of all projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth and expansion.
- Conduct market research and analysis.
- Implement best practices in project management.
- Drive initiatives to enhance productivity and improve efficiency.
- Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Oversee contract negotiations and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Develop and implement resource planning strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum B.Eng. or equivalent in a relevant Engineering Field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience with 5 years in a managerial position.
- MSc/MBA is an advantage.
- Technical expertise, managerial skills, and strategic vision.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Expert knowledge of cost and risk management.
