Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Resident Registered Midwife to join our team. As a Resident Registered Midwife, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the entire pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducting prenatal examinations and assessments to monitor the health of expectant mothers and their babies.
- Assisting during labor and delivery by providing emotional support, monitoring vital signs, and administering medication as required.
- Providing postpartum care, including breastfeeding support, newborn assessments, and postnatal check-ups for new mothers.
- Educating pregnant women and their families about pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting techniques.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records for each patient.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A strong sense of empathy and the ability to work well under pressure are also essential.
Additionally, candidates must have a valid Registered Midwife license and be willing to participate in ongoing professional development activities.
