Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager with Inventory Management experience to join our team. The Finance Manager with Inventory Management experience will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations related to the company’s inventory, including but not limited to inventory tracking, costing, valuation, and management reporting. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of inventory management practices and be able to provide valuable insights to improve the company’s financial performance.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial performance and variances, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Monitor financial trends and identify potential risks and opportunities.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Cash Flow Management:

  • Manage cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations and growth initiatives.
  • Optimize working capital and implement effective cash management practices.

Cost Management:

  • Analyze costs and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Oversee expense management and procurement processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Financial Controls and Compliance:

  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Provide training and support to enhance the team’s skills and performance.

Strategic Partnership:

  • Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide financial insights and guidance on new projects, investments, and business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 – 7 years of progressive experience in finance management, preferably within the IT distribution or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Excel).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
