Our client a large company specializing in home services, dedicated to providing exceptional service and innovative solutions to our customers. We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to our enterprise data management and data transformation initiatives.

Job Description:

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and transforming enterprise data to support our business operations and decision-making processes. You will work with a diverse team of data professionals and leverage cutting-edge technologies to ensure the integrity, accessibility, and usefulness of our data assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources.
• Implement and manage data warehousing solutions using Redshift or Snowflake.
• Utilize RDS or Aurora for managing relational databases.
• Work with Starburst or Amazon Athena for data querying and analytics.
• Collaborate with the data science team to use Databricks for advanced data processing and analytics.
• Employ DBT, Matillion, Airflow, or R for orchestrating data workflows.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries in MySQL.
• Use Python for data manipulation, automation, and integration tasks.
• Develop data visualization and business intelligence reports using Looker, Tableau, Mode, or ThoughtSpot.
• Utilize Jupyter, DataRobot, or Deepnote for data exploration and model development.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions that drive business value.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and enterprise data management.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Expertise with Redshift or Snowflake for data warehousing.
• Proficiency in managing databases with RDS or Aurora.
• Experience with Starburst or Amazon Athena for data analytics.
• Strong knowledge of Databricks for data processing.
• Experience with DBT, Matillion, Airflow, or R for data workflow orchestration.
• Proficiency in Python for data-related tasks.
