JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Driver to operate company vehicles and contribute to the smooth functioning of our daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and a customer-focused mindset. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, materials, or personnel to designated locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure proper maintenance and report any issues promptly.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery schedules and minimize travel time.
- Report any accidents, injuries, or traffic violations to the appropriate authorities and the company management.
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained, both inside and outside.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a driver, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and routes.
- Excellent navigation and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and weekends, if required.
