Job Description
· Responsible for developing and implementing fraud risk processes, tools, policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with CBN regulatory policies.
· Conduct daily transaction review, monitoring, and trend analysis investigations.
· Provide periodic/monthly submission of blocked users, newly onboarded merchants, fraudulent transactions, approved and declined transactions.
· Conduct merchant transaction monitoring; provide Watchlist & Hospitality Merchants’ report.
· Conduct objective, fair, thorough, unbiased, and timely investigations on fraud incidences.
· Collaborate with various departments to investigate and resolve fraudulent cases.
· Document investigations for internal tracking and regulatory reporting.
· Maintain liaison with law enforcement agencies and attend court hearings when required.
· Escalate issues with potential negative exposure.
· Deliver fraud training to all staff for organization-wide fraud awareness.
