Job Description

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Nigerian regulatory bodies, including the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), among others.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes, market developments, and industry trends.
  • Monitor and report on market news and developments on a daily basis.
  • Ensure the timely dissemination of breaking news across relevant beats.
  • Create original, insightful content related to the Nigerian financial industry, incorporating SEO best practices.
  • Build and maintain a large network of connections across relevant beats and areas of focus.
  • Represent the company at functions, press briefings, and industry events.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in financial analysis, journalism, or related roles, with a focus on the Nigerian financial industry.
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian financial regulations, market dynamics, and key players.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to deliver content at multiple levels of sophistication.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct interviews, engage with industry experts, and represent an organization professionally.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.
  • Proactive attitude with a passion for staying ahead of market developments and delivering impactful insights.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₦250,00.00 – ₦300,00.00 per month
